Cannes, February 14, 2005: In Sweden, mobile phone penetration is approaching one hundred percent, and consumption of non-voice services is higher than in almost any other country.

General Wireless: General Wireless provides mobile operators with SMS technology that enables PC users to send and receive SMS via MS Outlook, Outlook Express and Lotus Notes. The system enables 500 million PC users to communicate with 1 billion mobile phones.
Operators that today offer their customers General Wireless PC SMS service include Vodafone (in the UK, Hungary and Netherlands), Orange (in the UK, Denmark and Belgium), TIM, TeliaSonera, Tele2, O2 and VIPnet.
3GSM news: General Wireless will launch a new version of their service which will enable customers to send and receive MMS from Outlook.

Phonehits: Phonehits is a mobile music service provider. It has developed real-time computerized song recognition software. The software provides a real-time link to the music playing on radio stations. It identifies a song within 12 seconds and sends the information to the mobile phone.
Three services offered by Phonehits include; real-time music directory, real-time artist scanner and real-time ring tone
Real-time ring tone service allows users to receive ring tones from songs playing on the radio. This is made possible by linking Phonehits music identification service with a database of ring tones.
Phonehits tested this service in December 2004 using a database of 7000 polyphonic ring tones. The results were impressive: more than 95% of the songs played on Swedish commercial FM and over 80% of the songs on public service radio SR P3 radio were linked to ringtones in real time.
This technology will in the future enable users to buy the song they hear on the radio via their mobile phones in real time. 3GSM news: The system will be offered by one of the main European 3G operators on three markets during 2005. www.phonehits.com
Softhouse Nordic: Swedish company Softhouse has developed a mobile entertainment application called Twin Factor® which uses face recognition technology to match your face with a celebrity. A portrait picture is sent to a server via MMS and is matched with the celebrity pictures available in the database.
Softhouse believes the application to have great cross media potential and have ongoing discussions with partners to link the application to different TV shows.
Twin Factor® is the first in a product-line of mobile entertainment applications and will be launched in a number of new markets during the first and second quarter of 2005.

Synapse Mobile Networks: Synapse offers automatic configuration of MMS in mobile phones. The service is sold to and used by operators in Asia, Europe, North America, the Middle East and Africa.
The system was recently successfully installed by an operator in Cyprus offering automatic MMS configuration to its customers. The results show that 85% of all its customers with MMS capabilities have installed MMS. This can be compared to the common 1% MMS usage in other European countries.

Wayfinder: Wayfinder is a GPS navigation system for mobile phones. It offers the capabilities of an in-car navigation system and gives spoken directions. The system can be used a Bluetooth GPS module is flexible. It can give pedestrians directions and can replace today’s in car navigation systems.
Wayfinder covers Western Europe and Hungary and will launch in North America within 2005. It was awarded best mobile information application at Ericsson Mobile Applications Award 2004. 3GSM news: New product features will be announced. www.wayfinder.com
Kenet Works: Kenet Works enables Internet Communities to become truly mobile. Services include real-time updates of personal information such as guestbooks, as well as messaging with text, images, video and audio (push-to-talk). Clients and partners are Internet Communities and mobile telephony operators. Mobilaris: Mobilaris is established as the number one and leading EndToEnd supplier in the LBS Delivery Platform segment by contracting more mobile operators than any other competitor in the industry.
